Just a year after promising to protect the UK aid budget, the government has announced plans for drastic cuts that could result in over 100,000 deaths and put us back decades in tackling global poverty and hunger.
As the world's poorest countries struggle to cope with the coronavirus pandemic, this could not come at a worse time. We could see health clinics forced to close and cuts to child nutrition services, just when these will be needed more than ever.
But if enough MPs speak out, we could stop these plans in their tracks.
Please urge your MP to stand up for the world's most vulnerable people.
